Christmas Skating at SM Mall of Asia :)

In light of the holiday spirit, we decided to partake in the season by ice skating because it is a particularly famous winter season activity :) Since the most famous ice skating rink is in the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay, That's where we headed.

Because I haven't skated  in a very long time, I was surprised to learn that it now costs a flat rate of 390 pesos per person with an optional locker rental fee of 30 pesos in case you wanted to rent a locker for your stuff.

The Rink is very spacious, even though there are many others skating in the rink, there is enough space for us to maneuver and race around. It is also very slippery so it doesn't take too much effort to move around...it also doesn't take much to slip and fall on the ice :)

However, the problem sometimes is with the ice skates themselves, when there are a lot of customers, sometimes they run out of ice skates and you are forced to wear a size that doesn't fit you, making it less enjoyable to skate because the ice skates are either too small or too big for your feet.

Additionally, you can see and smell that the skates aren't that well maintained because of their poor condition and bad odor. Sometimes, this is what keeps customers like me from being enthusiastic about ice skating.

To fix this, they should see more carefully that the maintenance  of the cleanliness and quality of their skating equipment is properly done. They should also evaluate which size of skates are the ones that run out of the most so they can get more stocks of those skate sizes and avoid inconvenience for the customers who run out of those skate sizes.

Still, i had a great time in skating here nonetheless, thankfully i was able to exchange my small skates for the right size of skates for my feet.
