Mang Inasal Dinner

One of my favorite places to eat chicken barbecue is Mang Inasal. Mang Inasal's business has prospered over the last few years and has opened many branches nation wide and has branches almost in every corner here in metro manila.

Eventually, it's been bought by Jollibee Foods Corporation and has been under their management ever since. It has a great menu that offers Filipino favorites at a very affordable price.

But the one of the reasons I love this place is they offer unlimited rice on their Paborito meals which means you can enjoy your favorite chicken or pork barbecue dinner without worrying about spending too much money on extra rice :)

As i went in, I was greeted by the guard and cashier with a smile. I approached the counter and browsed the menu. Then, I ordered the Paborito Meal 1 which is the chicken thigh and leg part with unlimited rice while my friend ordered the Paborito Meal 3 which is 2 sticks of pork barbecue also served with unlimited rice.Unlike other fast foods, you have to wait a few minutes to be served to your table. This system is difficult to deal with if there are a lot of people dining inside.

Fortunately, there were only a few people inside so it didn't take too long for the food to arrive which is good because i was so hungry already.I really love the taste of their Inasal chicken and for only 99 pesos with unlimited rice it is definitely worth your money. However, I noticed that there was no spoon and fork included in our food and when I asked the staff for utensils, they simply pointed me to the direction of the utensils. I know that this is not a fancy restaurant where the waiter will cater to my every need but it would have been a nice gesture from the staff to bring the utensils to us directly instead of point seeing that we are already seated and about to dine. Here i realized that their customer service wasn't too good because they were not too busy and there was not a lot of people and they still lacked a little on their part to try and make it convenient for the customers.

While dining, I also noticed it's very hard to call the staff's attention when asking for soup or a rice refill or even water. They were just huddled up on a corner talking instead of roaming around to cater to the needs of their customers. This is another bad example of their customer service and they should train their staff better to be attentive on what the customer needs and be more approachable. It shouldn't be that they will only be active when there are a lot of people dining, they should treat their customers with attention whether it's peak hours or not.
